Baechle, EdD, CSCS,*D; NSCA-CPT,*D, is the executive director of the National Strength conference education science and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certification Commission. In 1985 he was named the NSCA’s Strength conference education science and Conditioning Professional of the Year. He has received numerous awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NSCA conference education science and the Excellence in Teaching Award from Creighton University. For more than 20 years he coached collegiate powerlifting teams, strength-trained athletes, conference education science and taught weight training classes.
